Welcome to my wonderful life on screen! I am a newly married woman who was told my family and I are crazy. I truly believe that we are not, we just seem to be very chaotic? We are very highly active people, though through the eyes of a stranger may see us as crazy.

Here I am 41 years old, finally doing something that I have always read myself, but secretly wanted to do it myself...blogging. I am a newly married woman (as mentioned before), with four wonderful children (his and mine), an extremely hard working husband and a ranch full of animals.  My husband and I have been together for two and a half years, and in that time we have started a ranch. We like to call it Crown Ranch.  We are in San Diego, though inland, in an area we call El Cajon. We have two beautiful 19 year old daughters, almost exactly four months apart, and two wonderful sons, one 17 and the other just three weeks away from being 13. That means I will soon be a mother of four teenagers! I must admit, it will be short lived. A few days after the 12 year old turns 13, one of our daughters will turn 20, and then shortly after our other daughter will also turn 20.  We also have one Son-in-law, they have been married for almost a year, and the really exciting news....My husband and I are thrilled to say that we will become grandparents around New Years! I know that I have always said I couldn't wait to be a grandparent, and my husband is so thrilled also, so we have learned we have more in common.  This beautiful couple just moved to Texas in the last two weeks. He is in the Army, his dream job, and though we severely miss them, we are puroud of who they are and what they are doing.  She just finished beauty school in January, and hopes to use that for her career.  Our other daughter, the one born in November, is in a serious relationship with her boyfriend, whom I hav'e known since he was in second grade. We are pretty sure they will be getting married when they are done with college. She goes to Chico State, and he will be attending Embry-Riddle in Arizona to become a pilot. It costs a lot of money, and he is staying home working and saving for college. They live with us, and he is a huge help to all of us.  Our sons, well, we are just as proud of them. The 17 year old starts his senior year in August, and then the other starts 7th grade. They are currently on summer break.

Why did I start a blog? Well, my brother-in-law mentioned I should write a book because every time he sees me I have an interesting story to tell. So, I started looking into blogging more and more, got even more interested, and here I am! To say the least, we have had a whirlwind of a year far this year.  It actually started in December, but who's keeping track?

Who am I, well other than a wife, a rancher, and a mother, I am also what some would consider me a super volunteer. I don't view it as that, but I do enjoy it. I am the PTSA president of my sons middle school, and I also volunteer for the drama department st the school with hair and makeup and also costuming, and lastly I volunteer for my sons Award winning show choir group. Those things, keep me extremely busy throughout the school year. It truly upsets my husband at times, because I am not home, but truth be told, I do not always like being away either.  I love to cook and bake, especially for large groups. I use a lot of recipes, and throw things together myself. My favorite recipes come from my favorite blogger, The Pioneer Woman.  I follow most of her recipes step by step, but often times you will find me adding or taking out ingredients, and tweaking them all to my own liking!

I am a cancer survivor, a mom, a rancher, a wife, and so many more things, and without all of these things....well, I just wouldn't be me!  And with that being said, here is the end of my first blog. I will never admit to being a writer, but I am going to do this as something for me, something I have thought for many years about. I hopefully will get better and better, as time progresses. Until then, have fun, relax, and enjoy my roller coaster life with me! Welcome to my life!!!
